2005 has been a good year for the E J Creighton stable with Eddie once again presently leading the trainer’s title having had numerous winners and places. His owners are of every nationality including Irish, English, Swedish, Spanish, South African and French.

Eddie’s operation has been based at the all-weather track in Mijas where he has been champion trainer for the past three years. Horses are trained on-course and stabled in American- style barns. Weather is one of the major beneficial factors for training horses in the Costa del Sol, not only do the horses look great all year round but the owners can enjoy racing in a sunny climate, rather than the wet windy days experienced in England, Ireland and France.

The E J Creighton facilities available for horses in training include a Panama Spa that is ideal for horses with leg problems, a horse transporter which holds 8 horses comfortably along with a 2 horse Theault transporter. Racecourse facilities include walkers, paddocks, and the fibresand all-weather track with additional plans for future construction of swimming pools and a hydrotherapy centre for horses. All of this makes for an ideal place to train horses.
